Coaching for 11 years has taught me that every players learns in their own way. The most important thing to remember is that as long as maximum effort is given at all times, then development will happen. I am very keen on teaching players not only to be good footballers technically but also truly understand the game and the position they have in the team.

I have had the privilege to play professional football at the highest level in English football. I am a UEFA B Quailed coach and have managed from U7’s to Men’s teams with over 20 years’ experience.
I like to play through the 3rds but using your pace and going direct is always an option if you have the players, cutting out the high press.

DARREN VERSCHUREN

Core Belief – Core Belief – Being half Dutch and English I like to combine the intensity to win the ball back when out of possession with a calmness and confidence to pass the ball when we have it.
I played at a decent level through youth football, playing for my county (Middlesex) and being part of the Chelsea youth team from age 13-17 and playing in some semi pro teams before getting into coaching. Took a break when my kids were very small, but now my son is playing nice to be back part of the best game in the world.
